David Czerniecki, CFA

David leads Nassau Asset Management and is responsible for managing Nassau’s insurance portfolios including establishing portfolio strategy, managing asset allocation, and delivering investment performance across all of Nassau's investment categories. He is also responsible for the strategy and growth of Nassau’s third-party asset management business.

Prior to joining Nassau in 2019, David spent nearly 20 years at XL Group Ltd (AXA XL) in various leadership roles including serving as Senior Portfolio Manager and Co-Chairman of XL’s Global Credit Committee. In this role, he oversaw more than 60% of the company’s fixed income portfolio. Throughout his career he has served in a variety of business leadership, credit, capital markets and new product roles across leading insurance, asset management, banking, and investment banking firms.

David earned a B.S. in business administration from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. with distinction from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management where he was a member of Phi Beta Kapa. He is also CFA^® charterholder.
